London, UK - April 18, 2024 - BoobyBiome co-founder and Chief Technical Officer, Dr Tara O’Driscoll, has been awarded a place on the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Shott Scale-Up Accelerator (Cohort 15). Dr O’Driscoll joins 14 other senior leaders of UK-based engineering and technology SMEs in the programme. The Shott Scale Up Accelerator is a year-long initiative designed to enhance the leadership skills of experienced decision-makers within rapidly growing SMEs, enabling them to elevate their businesses to new heights.

The Shott Scale-Up Accelerator Programme is a comprehensive platform empowering tech leaders on their path to growth and success. Over twelve months, participants engage in a 52-hour growth training programme, receive personalised 1:1 leadership coaching, and benefit from individual business mentoring by industry-leading engineers with a proven track record. Additionally, awardees are granted a £10,000 training fund for global leadership courses and gain access to a diverse investor network, along with regular guidance from a dedicated relationship manager.
The programme also includes full access to Culture+ for fostering inclusive cultures, lifetime co-working space access, and membership to exclusive events and mentoring opportunities provided by the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub. With a focus on six key areas crucial for scaling a business, the programme equips participants with the necessary tools, resources, and connections for sustained growth and success.
